Monday Morning Humor - George Jetson Turns 61!

The Jetsons was an animated series first appearing 60 years ago about a family set in the 2060s.  The show forecasted advanced technology like moving sidewalks, talking computers, and robots to clean our homes.  It will be another 40 years before we know if Hannah Barbera had their thumb squarely on the pulse of what technology will be like in the future: Will we have flying cars en masse? Will our jobs only require us to push “… a button on and off as many as five times for three hours, three days a week”? Who knows!

But while we wait to see what the future holds, the titular animated sitcom dad, George Jetson, was born yesterday, July 31, 2022!
